Building Estimator
/We are a family run business trading for 70 years with the aim or providing quality services across the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Building Estimator to join our team
Job requirements:
Analysing and interpreting plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs
researching, sourcing and negotiating the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
assessing the financial, technical, and operational risks of the project
visiting project sites to gather information
inputting into decisions over whether to bid for the project
Preparing bids and submitting tenders and quotations to timescale
Role requirements:
Experience with building estimation is essential however experience of estimation in respect of other trades is preferred but not essential.
This is a permanent position where flexible working hours can be considered on either a full or part time basis.
Package on offer:
In return, you will benefit from a competitive starting salary with annual pay reviews. Starting salary will be subject to experience and will be negotiable in the region of £40-£55k. The business offers training as required, a pension scheme and recognises a quality work life balance.
